We loved our stay at the Sculptures house. Four generations came together to enjoy a long weekend together. We woke every morning to watch breath taking views from the family room or would walk to the fort to watch the sunrise. We enjoyed walking to all the close restaurants and sights, playing games in the backyard, watching the tide change, boats move, and dolphins play. The house is a very special place. We were all comfortable and had plenty of space for six adults and two children. My grandfather is not very mobile, but he was able to walk up the front stairs and benefit from the wide door ways and spacious living spaces.
Everything was lovely!

The house was charming and had everything you need in a VRBO. The view from the veranda was great and many evenings we enjoyed cocktails and watched the dolphins go by. Inside the house, the kitchen was spacious and having two living rooms, one with a TV, was a win-win for our family. Would definitely come back to this home.

We rented several homes this past weekend for our daughters wedding . We chose this special home for our daughter and her bridal party to enjoy. What a view .. The girls all got their hair and makeup done while looking out the massive picture window as sail boats drifted by.
The home is located a block from the Castillo de San Marcos fort where my daughter was married. The only issue we had was with a neighbor with a speaker outside of their window mocking our guest and mocking marriage . We hope this is an isolated incident as the owner and the property manager were more than accommodating and professional .. We would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway
Great property and location!

We stayed at the house during the Christmas season and it was the perfect place to be close to town and the lights. The place was clean and comfortable and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Beautiful setting, close to the attractions and a very comfortable house!

8 of us really had a nice time and were very comfortable. I think a few more towels would have been nice, but other than that a five star property. The agent was easy to deal with and was accessible. I would recommend this property highly!

We have never been to St. Augustine before so location if the home we picked was very important to us. This location is perfect. Walking distance to the fort and historic district and then just a short drive across the bridge to Vilano beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the house. The back porch/yard view is stunning. The a.c. unit had an issue but it was resolved in a very quick manner on a Sunday (fathers day). Excellent management and a wonderful home. We look forward to coming back sometime soon!
Beautiful and Relaxing!

The Sculpture's house is the perfect location if you're looking for quiet yet walking distance from downtown St. Augustine. The house was very clean and has all the amenities mentioned in their descriptions. The kitchen has high end appliances and fully equipped with kitchenware and utensils. The beds and couches were comfortable. The best thing about the house are the clear windows that allow you to view the relaxing coastal water from the living room and bedroom. Our entire stay was very relaxing and hassle free:) I would stay at the Sculpture's House again!
Fabulous home to celebrate our 27th Anniversary

Your home is beautiful and has one of the prettiest views available in downtown St. Augustine- the peace filled views of the Bridge of Lions, the intercostal waterway and the ocean was a triple bonus!! We walked to all of our sightseeing, shopping and dining outings since the home is so close to everything in this historical city.. We will certainly be coming back and are so grateful to have spent time in your home.

Thank you so much for sharing "Sculptor's House". Perfect house for a family gathering, large rooms, beautifully appointed and well stocked. The views of the bridges and back patio were breathtaking and the perfect place to watch a sunrise or moonrise. A short walk from downtown shops and restaurants. We can't wait to go back!

Perfect Spot for a Rejuvenating Getaway

The "Sculptor's House" was a perfect spot for our weeklong family gathering. The house is gorgeous on its own, augmented by the namesake sculptor's works of art.
The setting is gorgeous, with sunrises over the water and bridge lights by night. The house is an easy walk to good restaurants and many of St. Augustine's major attractions, including the Fountain of Youth, the Nombre de Dios mission and shrine, Flagler College, the "Oldest House," the Spanish Military Hospital Museum, and, of course, Fort Castillo.
Three generations of our family had a wonderful time. I'm not sure about the Fountain of Youth, but a week in the "Sculptor's House" is definitely rejuvenating.

We were lucky enough to snag this property for our family vacation!! The pictures of the property simply do not do it any justice. We loved sitting the backyard eating meals, watching the birds and boats as well as our 13 month old son running around the yard and smelling the flowers. The close proximity to historic district was also a great addition as we walked everywhere with the expectation of the grocery store. Booking the property was an ease and great communication with property management! Highly recommend and our love to book again in the future!!

My husband, me, our two teen sons, and my parents stayed here in early November. The Sculptor's House is in a great location just a short walk to the fort (literally just a couple blocks away) and the historic downtown area. We spent quite a bit of time out in the back yard and on the patio enjoying the great water views. The weather was unseasonably cooler than we expected but it was easy to move inside and still enjoy the views out the large windows in the back living room. The home is in a nice quiet neighborhood and the landscaping provides a lot of privacy. The back yard is large and we enjoyed playing football in such a scenic setting. The home is clean, spacious, and comfortable. All three bedrooms run along the side of the house with two living areas and the dining room area in the middle of the house. The kitchen and garage are located on the other side of the house. The back bedroom has a queen bed with french doors that open to the patio and great water view. This bedroom has it's own bathroom so this room worked out well for my parents and gave them a lot of privacy. The other two bedrooms (1 king and the other 2 twins) share a bathroom located in between the rooms. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linens and bedding. The bathrooms and kitchen are updated and we had everything we needed to cook a couple of meals there. When I inquired, I spoke with one of the owners, Jeanne, by phone and she was very helpful. The property manager, Morgan, was also very responsive and even called me on our arrival day to check in and make sure everything was good for us. We own 2 VRBO properties and seek out other VRBO rentals when we travel and this home ranked up there with some of our favorite places. We had a great time in St. Augustine and this home made our stay and our family time together that much more special. We hope to get back to St. Augustine and the Sculptor's House in the future.
Absolutely Lovely

As an editor and writer for a travel publishing company, I've had an opportunity to stay at many beautiful places. Truly, this is one of my favorites.
The Sculptor's House is both supremely lovely and very comfortable. The peaceful tidal marsh, with a long view to the ocean, can be seen along the entire back of the home - and it is ever-changing as the tides move in and out. Each day, dolphins and herons came to fish in the inlet, and fiddler crabs scurried through the reeds near our seawall. At night, we walked to see the Castillo de San Marcos fort lit up, had ice cream at Kilwin's on St. George Street, and took a ghost tour by trolley (we really liked being in the Old Jail at night). The historic downtown, Ripley's Believe it or Not! and the visitors center is just a few minutes walk from the house, and the lighthouse, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm, and the beach are a 10-minute drive over the Bridge of Lions.
My favorite thing about our vacation was waking up early each morning to watch sunrise from the blue bedroom, and then having coffee out on the deck before going for a run through the historic district. On our second day of vacation, I called a friend to say if I could live in this house, I thought I might never ask for another thing. My two teenagers and our little dog loved it too.
